What to expect leading up to KNTF Event

We will have 2 times of the year that you can pre-register your child for the KNTF Event.

Registration can be done at the Annual Bake sale and the Auction. 

With Pre-registration you will need to arrive in person at the events to sign them up. 

Benefits of the early sign up will be your child will receive a VIP Band, (This will need to be  kept, we will not replace the band the day of event) with this band, on the day of the event the child will receive 1 extra Ticket for the drawling's.  This is to give a child an extra ticket in for the drawling; Not to win 2 prices but to better the odds.

• Registration & Sign-In: Help us welcome participants and ensure everyone is checked in smoothly.
• Distributing Poles and Tackle: Assist in handing out fishing gear to eager young anglers.
• Worm Station: Manage the worm station, providing bait for our young fishers.
• Child Assistance: Walk around and help children with their fishing poles, offering guidance and support as they learn to fish.
• Food and Water Stations: Help keep our volunteers and participants refreshed with food and drinks.
• Vendor Support: If you're a vendor interested in volunteering or donating items during the event, we would greatly appreciate your support!
• Clean-Up Crew: Help us leave the venue better than we found it by assisting with clean-up after the event.
• And More!: If you have other skills or ideas, we’d love to hear them!

• Fishing Gear: Do not bring your own fishing equipment
• Our event will provide all necessary poles and tackle for the children
• Feel free to bring chairs and blankets for comfort and convenience

• We kindly request that parents and children remain for the full event duration
• Event timing can be flexible to accommodate children's energy levels and comfort
• Stay close to ensure you don't miss important announcements, prize drawings, or special moments

• Boat Ramp Etiquette:
  • No fishing or swimming on the boat ramp
  • Respect other boaters and anglers using the facility

• Our commitment is to leave the area cleaner than we found it
• By maintaining the site, we help ensure future events with the Corps of Engineers and Conservation Department
